PBA International is leading the mechanical and engineering services in the construction of the new Parkview office building in Prague.
The building has been designed by the leading global architectural studio Richard Meier & Partners and will provide nine stories of green, modern and flexible office space in the district of Pankrác.
PBA was appointed as lead engineer to co-ordinate the delivery of all disciplines as well as designing the heating, cooling, ventilation and sprinkler systems
Skanska aims to make each of its buildings more and more technologically advanced and the Parkview has been designed using BIM not only to monitor construction costs, energy efficiency and allow easy modelling of future tenant areas, but also to provide efficient facility management after completion. As the project brief required the design team to concentrate on energy savings, PBA designed a highly energy-efficient HVAC system and created a LEED energy model to help achieve LEED Platinum and WELL Gold certifications that Skanska is aspiring to.
The completion is scheduled for first quarter of 2020.
