BEng, MSc, CEng, CEnv, CWEM, MICE, MCIWEM

Simon joined PBA as a graduate engineer in 1994, and now leads our Cambridge office, as well as playing a key role in infrastructure projects and the technical development of our water teams nationally as Chair of the Water Technical Board. He is also a fellow of the ICE.

Simon has a track record of advising and providing engineering support to a number of internal drainage boards, local authorities and retained private clients, with a particular focus on providing strategic and environmentally sustainable solutions, and an integrated approach to infrastructure delivery and water level management. As both a Chartered Engineer and a Chartered Environmentalist with international experience, he brings a unique perspective to projects.

His key project contributions include directing all phases of the site infrastructure development at Center Parcs Longford Village in the Republic of Ireland; developing drainage strategies and infrastructure for marine energy park (NSIP) developments at the Killingholme Marshes in Lincolnshire, and overseeing and innovating on the delivery of numerous capital works projects, project appraisals and catchment based studies for drainage authority clients. He has also helped to guide local planning policy through his role on the Northstowe Technical Liaison Group and the Cambridge Sub-Region Water Cycle Strategy Steering Group.

Simon is part of the PBA Corporate Responsibility Steering Group, taking the lead in promoting benevolence and community development.
