Nick has broad consultancy experience working primarily in the land development sector, ranging from the development of sustainable site access strategies through to the preparation of evidence and representations to influence policy.
He has experience in many elements of transportation project work including transport assessments, accessibility audits, masterplanning, integrated transport strategies, traffic modelling, public exhibitions, junction capacity analysis, liaison with local authorities, development planning support, informal hearings, local development framework and appeal inquiries.
Nick has a depth of expertise in his own field of transportation and has also developed a sound appreciation of other technical disciplines, often acting as project director, managing and co-ordinating our technical service delivery to support complex multidisciplinary projects through the planning and development cycle. He has led projects within both private and public sectors, providing support on planning submissions including environmental assessments (for mixed-use developments, housing developments, schools, transport infrastructure schemes), feasibility and design of infrastructure and the development of policy and strategies for a range of schemes.
Nick is leading our Oxford Transport team and is involved in the operational management and business development out of our Oxford office, contributing to wider LLP business plan delivery objectives.
