UK – PBA has been named as a finalist in the 2018 Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) awards; shortlisted in the small-scale consultancy category of the Consultancy of the Year section.
Each year, CIEEM presents a series of awards that celebrate the achievements of both the profession and individual practitioners. The awards also aim to raise the profile of CIEEM, and the role it plays in championing the importance and practice of ecology.
The judges were looking for individual CIEEM members and projects that demonstrated best practice in the sector, across a range of different categories. The 2018 shortlist includes young professionals, consultancies delivering high quality ecological services and NGO’s that deliver projects benefiting nature.
PBA’s entry highlighted a selection of the outstanding ecology projects the consultancy has delivered throughout the UK. The submission also showed how the PBA ecology team repeatedly provides high quality, practical outcomes that benefit business as well as nature, while sharing learning and good practice, developing staff and promoting the profession.
Commenting on the announcement, Elaine Richmond, PBA’s Director of Environment, said:
“This is a great achievement and a reflection of the hard work, skills and experience that the PBA ecology team embodies. We are honoured to be named alongside the other shortlisted consultancies and look forward to the award ceremony in June.”
The 2018 CIEEM Awards lunch will be held in the stunning setting of the Merchant Taylors' Hall in London on Thursday 21st June.
