New Partner and engineering appointments for PBA in Scotland
12 January 2016
GLASGOW – Dougie McDonald, a senior member of the transport planning team at development and infrastructure consultancy Peter Brett Associates, has been made a Partner in the Practice, and will now oversee operations for PBA’s offices in Scotland.
Dougie joined PBA as a Director of Transport Planning in May 2014 from Systra, and became an Equity Director in January 2015. He has been closely involved with several major multi-disciplinary projects for the Practice, managing key elements of PBA’s work on the Glasgow and Clyde Valley City Deal and leading our work for West Dunbartonshire Council’s City Deal project, with the development of the Exxon site at Bowling.
Under his leadership, PBA will also continue to grow its Planning, Civil Engineering, Transport, Buildings and Environment capabilities in Scotland.
“We are delighted that Dougie has agreed to become a Partner in the Practice,” said PBA Chairman Keith Mitchell. “He will be instrumental in continuing the positive development of our Scottish business, and will work closely with the senior team in Scotland to deliver on the commitment we made to equitable employment and training practices in August 2015, when PBA signed up to the Scottish Business Pledge.”
PBA is also pleased to welcome civil engineers Jim McGuire, who will join as a Senior Associate in Glasgow, and Niall Quinn, who joins as an Assistant Engineer in Edinburgh.
