Cambridge – PBA, now part of Stantec, has relocated to a new office in Cambridge today. The local team has moved to 50/60 Station Road, Cambridge, CB1 2JH.
Commenting on the move, Simon Darch, Director, Cambridge, said:
“We’ve always been committed to building communities and in Cambridge we have a long history of working to develop and improve the local area. Over the years, the team here has developed strong relationships with local businesses and organisations and this move will put us in the ideal place to build on these connections so we can continue to support the community that we’re part of.”
PBA is also involved in the work to shape and develop the Oxford to Cambridge corridor. PBA Director, Midlands and East, Ron Henry, helped develop a shortlisted entry for the National Infrastructure Commission (NIC) ideas competition to generate inspirational visions for the development of the Cambridge to Oxford corridor. Commenting on the new office, he said:
“Alleviating the challenges that currently face the Cambridge to Oxford corridor is vital to the continued growth of the area. Our new office occupies a great position in the heart of this bustling, ever-growing city and gives us a stronger base from which we can continue the research and thought leadership that are helping to shape the future of the region.”
The team in Cambridge has been involved in several high-profile projects in recent years including Center Parcs Woburn Forest and Longford Forest, Waterbeach, Luton’s Power Court, and Jesus College among others.
A drinks reception will be held at The Tamburlaine Hotel to celebrate the opening of the new office.
