UK – PBA, now part of Stantec, is pleased to welcome Neil Lane as Director of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) UK.
Neil joins PBA from CH2M (Jacobs) where he held a UK and European ITS Transport role.
Neil has a wide range of project experience including the Smart Motorways Programme for Highways England, the National Traffic Centre, the National Road Telecommunication Service, the Lower Thames Crossing and the A14. In addition, Neil has worked on ITS projects throughout Europe, including the National Traffic Management System for Poland.
Most recently, Neil has been involved in projects with Innovate UK’s Vehicle trials, and was the lead programme manager for Smart Mobility Living Labs in London.
Commenting on his new appointment, Neil said:

I’m looking forward to being involved with world class projects as well as developing the business. It’s an exciting time for ITS technologies and innovations as they are used more and more to help design, construct, operate and maintain new transportation infrastructure around the world.
I’m passionate about developing these new technologies and innovations to enhance the way we do things in the transport industry, to improve future infrastructure, and guarantee the legacy we leave behind us.”
