Homes England Framework

Homes England Framework

As the government’s housing accelerator Homes England helps to improve neighbourhoods and grow communities by releasing more land to developers for the delivery of new housing.

PBA has been appointed as a lead consultant to the Homes England framework panel of multi-disciplinary consultants since 2014 and are engaged in the current framework that runs until 2022.

"We have worked with PBA through a variety of projects ranging from high level pre-acquisition development constraints and viability appraisals, to detailed design and construction delivery. Throughout these schemes we have continued to be impressed with PBA’s consistent approach; understanding our aspirations, providing intelligent development advice and always delivering to meet the required timescales.

PBA are a highly professional and knowledgeable team of consultants, with a wide range of expertise; they continue to provide a high quality, flexible and collaborative service."

Homes England’s strategy for the next 4-5 years is to support the government’s target to deliver 300,000 homes annually by working to ‘shake up housing delivery’. This will be achieved by using their land, money, powers and influence to increase pace, scale and quality of delivery and will be underwritten by investment of over £27 billion over the next few years across a range of their funding programmes.

Our work through the framework covers a wide variety of project scales and locations providing strategic, place-making, planning and technical services for major development, due diligence, estate renewal, refurbishment and disposal schemes.

Other public sector bodies can also use our services via the Homes England framework after signing an Access Agreement with the agency. Once the Homes England has received the signed document, login details are provided to a secure website containing full information on how to use the multidisciplinary panels.

“In the run-up to the new financial year and with an election looming, the City of London Corporation required a Professional Services team to support the delivery of a politically vital project at short notice. The framework gave us access to suitably qualified suppliers; the flexibility to move quickly with challenging deadlines and enabled us to exceed stakeholder expectations”.

Toni Peters, City of London Corporation
