Streatham Park, London

KEY FACTS

Streatham Park, London

Streatham Park is a multi-million pound regeneration scheme in south London.

PBA provided civil and highways, geo-environmental, structural and utilities engineering to deliver a new bus interchange adjacent to Streatham station and 250 homes, F60 retail and basement parking for Tesco.

Use of the Parallel Beam Approach enabled a comparatively lightweight transfer structure which saved on foundation and column requirements, and enabled construction of the store to continue after the roof transfer was erected. The store opened five months ahead of schedule allowing for generation of in-store revenue before Christmas.
