Simon joined PBA as a graduate engineer in 1994, and now leads the practice’s Civil Engineering group in the East of England from our offices in Cambridge, as well as playing a key role in infrastructure projects and the development of our water teams nationally.
Simon has a track record of advising and providing engineering support to a number of internal drainage boards, local authorities and retained private clients, with a particular focus on providing strategic and environmentally sustainable solutions, and an integrated approach to infrastructure delivery and water level management. As both a Chartered Engineer and a Chartered Environmentalist with international experience, he brings a unique perspective to projects.
His key project contributions include taking a lead consultant role in all phases of the site infrastructure development at Center Parcs Woburn Village; developing drainage strategies and infrastructure for marine energy park developments at the Killingholme Marshes in Lincolnshire, and overseeing the delivery of numerous capital works projects and catchment based studies for drainage authority clients. He is also helping to guide local planning policy through his role on the Northstowe Technical Liaison Group and the Cambridge Sub-Region Water Cycle Strategy Steering Group.
