Since studying sustainable architectural design, Ross has worked primarily in building services engineering consultancy. Initially designing mechanical, electrical and public health systems, he increasingly focused on environmental sustainability in property and construction, developing and leading teams at two international consultancies. Working throughout the UK, Ireland and France, his project work has spanned a range of sectors, including mixed use, residential, hospitality, office, education, culture and justice.
In 2009, Ross was awarded CIBSE’s Ken Dale Travel Bursary to evaluate traditional approaches to water management in the Levant and their applicability to contemporary development. Shortly afterwards he cofounded an engineering consultancy practice based in London, later relocating to Bristol. In this capacity, he has been supporting PBA’s project work since 2010.
Ross has been working as part of PBA’s building services engineering team on a contract basis since January 2017 and has now joined a permanent basis to establish a buildings team in the South West region.
