Paul is Director of Civil Engineering leading a team of experienced designers primarily working in the London urban regeneration market. Off the back of these regeneration projects, Paul has developed a keen interest in the design of public realm and resolving the longevity and maintenance issues surrounding such schemes. He has been heavily involved with the infrastructure design of Argent’s Kings Cross Central project and is now leading the infrastructure design for Lend Lease’s Elephant Park and the Wharves at Deptford.
With a broad client base, Paul also manages a number of key client accounts. He spends time understanding clients' key project drivers and sensitivities, challenging preconceptions and 'commodity' design.
Paul is responsible for the coordination of business development within the Ashford office, sitting on the regional management board as well as a number of national marketing initiative groups. He is active both within the South East and London business communities focusing on new market client opportunities.
Technically, Paul is a Chartered Civil Engineer (15 years post Chartered experience), generalist in all things land development related and specialist in Surface Water / SUDS Management and Public Realm design. He is a member of the PBA Civils Technical Excellence Board and authors PBA internal technical guidance documents.
