Bob joined Peter Brett Associates over 17 years ago and has built and led the Practice’s sustainable transport team since then. In addition, Bob is also responsible for public sector transport frameworks across the UK and currently leads the South Coast business sector within the Practice. He gained a degree in Geography from Nottingham Trent University.
Bob has considerable experience in local authority transportation planning and his specialties include public transport operations and infrastructure, travel planning and behaviour change, health and wellbeing, policy analysis, contracts and procurement, process and management review.
In recent years Bob has led several major travel behaviour change projects and has worked with both private and public sector clients to deliver complex demand management schemes. His major projects include personalised travel planning in Brighton, Melbourne, Reading and Plymouth, bus network reviews in East Sussex and Lincolnshire, Quality Contract Schemes in the North East and West Yorkshire and planning for new rail stations in Essex, Kent and London. He has also acted as a specialist public transport and travel planning expert witness at planning inquiries for both developers and local authorities across the UK.
Bob is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.
