PBA wins at the Construction Investing in Talent Awards

16 November 2017

LONDON – PBA has been named winner of the Best Use of Technology category at the 2017 Construction Investing in Talent Awards.

All the inspirational winners were recognised on the evening of 15 November at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.

The Construction Investing in Talent Awards, which aims to reward individuals and teams who work hard to attract and retain the best talent, brought together over 350 industry professionals from the fields of HR, learning and development, training, development and recruitment for a glittering evening of celebration and recognition.

The judges included HR and talent experts from both inside and outside the industry. After reviewing PBA’s entry they commented:

“PBA won because we were struck by the novel use of technology to target potential candidates based on not just who they were, but where they were. This creative approach resulted in a six-fold increase in applications in an area that is more challenging to recruit in.”

Construction News editor, Tom Fitzpatrick said:

“Our industry needs to go further to recruit a diverse mix of new entrants and leaders from all types of backgrounds. The companies who were shortlisted for these awards have proved that they are leading the way.

“Congratulations to our winners, chosen by our expert panel of independent judges from the worlds of travel, education, government and infrastructure. They should be truly proud of their achievements in trying to create a better industry for their employees and the wider public.”
